‘The Great Debate of the Ages’ was held today in the Wollongong City Council Chambers as part of Youth Week. It was the third year that the Young Guns took on the Golden Oldies, discussing the topic “The young need discipline and a full bookcase.”
The Young Guns consisted of students Brooke Carmody from St Mary’s College, Isaac Hayne from Edmund Rice College and Dimitrious Havadjia from Smith’s Hill High School.
After a long and arduous debate, it was the Young Ones that took out the title but the Golden Oldies put up a great fight.
